There is a party going on!!!!!!! Over at Five Minutes for Mom, they are having a
ultimate blog party. The party last from March 7-14, so only a couple of days left. This is a great way to meet other bloggers. It is a women only party. So join the over 1300 bloggers already signed up and blog away.

Just in case you have never visited my blog, I am a 28yo SAHM. I have been married to my husband for eight years. I am a mother of two, a 5yo son and a 3yo daughter whom we homeschool. My blog is just a collection of my thoughts and occurrences throughout my journey in life. So, grab a cup of coffee and sit for a spell.

Hello there! :-) Thanks for stopping by. You know, I've been looking lots of different curriculum ideas over. I love to be very flexible and do individual unit studies along with what we're learning and love the idea of putting together my own curriculum for 1st like I have for K, or using something like Konos.. but I keep thinking that with how much more 1st is involved I just need something a little more structured.

And with everything I keep looking at, I keep coming back to My Father's World. It's super hands on, which is what we love, but simple to use and well scheduled. I know several people who love it and have read numerous online reviews where homeschool mom's rave about it. So... I think I'm going to end up going with that :-)

Check out My Father's World here. I think I may get their K curriculum too for my daughter who will be in K next year.

I love that their so Biblical based and have Character Development integrated as well as an International focus. Seems like it's right up our family's alley :-)

Hi! I just left a comment on your post "Toys and Bad Attitude." I just now actually read this post and discovered that you are a homeschooling stay at home mom. Me too! I have 5 children but am only actively homeschooling 2 of them. I am doing a relatively unstructured homeschooling program with my kids (using old curriculum and supplementing online, etc.). I would love to discuss ideas together.
